Strikes on London Underground are set to begin at 12:00 midday on Tuesday and last until 12:00 midday the following day, but disruption will continue into the afternoons and evenings of strike days.
🚫Impact on Tube services
- The strikes will affect the whole Tube network
- A reduced service will run across most lines but significant disruption is expected
- Any services that do run will be less frequent, very busy, and you may not be able to board the first train
- No service expected on the Piccadilly and Circle lines
- No service expected on the Metropolitan line between Baker Street and Aldgate
- No service expected on the Central line between White City and Liverpool Street
🗓️Tuesdays and Thursdays
- Until mid-morning: normal services
- Late morning: services ramping down ahead of strike
- After midday: significant disruption on all lines, continuing through the following day
- Tube services that do run will finish early - you should aim to have completed your journey by 20:00
🗓️ Wednesdays and Fridays
- Tube services that do run will start later than normal with no service expected before 07:30
- Morning: significant disruption on all lines until midday
- Afternoon / evening: services recovering, with some disruption likely until the evening

- Elizabeth line, DLR, London Overground, and tram services will be running normally on strike days
- The vast majority of buses will be running normally throughout these strikes, but 7 bus routes operated by Stagecoach will be affected by separate strike action between 05:00 on Friday 24 April and 05:00 on Saturday 25 April. Other buses will run as usual
