It’s ten years since the weekly Eltham Park South event began.
On Sunday 22nd February, Eltham Junior Parkrun celebrates its 10th anniversary.
The weekly event for children aged 4-14 is held every Sunday at 9am at Eltham Park South, where participants run, jog or walk the 2km route, two laps of the park.
3,000 young people have finished the event since it began in 2016, and there have been 700 volunteers over the decade too. Without volunteers giving up their time, the event could not take place.
To take part in the event, or any other Parkrun, just register on the Parkrun website, download the barcode that is generated and turn up!
When you complete the course, your time is recorded and you can see how you did and compare results at future events.
