
Roadworks at a major Woolwich junction have been causing long delays.
There were long delays in Woolwich, Plumstead and the surrounding areas during Monday's rush hour owing to bridge parapet replacement and resurfacing works on Pettman Crescent.
Between 11th August and 5th September, there will be lane closures and temporary traffic lights.
Between 28th August to 31st August, there will be a full road closure at Plumstead High Street junction.
The Royal Borough of Greenwich warned of the potential for delays in the area, once the roadworks began.

Despite the warnings, there were still long tailbacks on Monday, with many motorists reporting "Chaos".
Leader of the Royal Borough of Greenwich, councilor Anthony Okereke, has called an emergency meeting, with TfL, for Tuesday to discuss the problems.
