The Greenwich community has been left deeply saddened following the death of 29-year-old Halyna “Lina” Hoisan, who was fatally stabbed at her home on Trafalgar Road last week.
Police were called to the address shortly after 10 pm on Wednesday, 27 August. Despite the best efforts of paramedics, Lina tragically died at the scene. Specialist officers are now supporting her family.
Friends and neighbours have described Lina as a much-loved member of the community.
On Friday, 5 September, detectives charged 33-year-old Yurii Muzyka, of Burlington Road, New Malden, with her murder. He has been remanded in custody and will appear at Bromley Magistrates’ Court on Saturday, 6 September.
