Emergency services rushed to Plumstead Road outside Woolwich Covered Market this morning after a person became trapped under a bus.
Plumstead Road and Woolwich Road were closed on Monday morning, following reports of an accident involving a person trapped under bus .
The condition of the trapped individual has not yet been confirmed, but London Ambulance Servics said that they were providing life-saving care at the scene before transporting the person to hospital.
Witnesses described a horrific scene with "chaos" following the accident.

Plumstead Road is temporarily closed in both directions, from the Woolwich Ferry roundabout, to allow emergency services to work safely, causing significant traffic delays in the area.
