Charlton Athletic held play-off contenders Stevenage to a 0-0 draw at The Valley in a hard-fought Easter Parade encounter.

The Easter Parade at The Valley stadium saw Charlton Athletic maintain their recent unbeaten streak by achieving a clean sheet in a challenging goalless draw with Stevenage, contenders for the play-offs.

Charlton's manager, Nathan Jones, made a few changes to the team, with Rarmarni Edmunds-Green returning and young midfielder Karoy Anderson rested. Freddie Ladapo started in a three-pronged attack. Stevenage's boss, Steve Evans, watched the game from the Directors' Box due to a touchline ban.

The first half was evenly matched, with lots of midfield heading but few shots on goal. The hosts showed more attacking force in the second half, but indecision remained in the final third. Aneke replaced May on 62 minutes, and Bakinson replaced Ladapo to add to midfield creativity, but both teams had few chances.

During five minutes of stoppage time, Isted's goal remained intact at the final whistle. The game ended in a goalless draw, with Charlton Athletic 0 - Stevenage 0.
