There is currently an incident on Peartree Way next to Ikea involving a local bus.
Emergency services were called to Peartree Lane, Greenwich, shortly after midnight on Monday following reports of a collision involving a bus and a pedestrian.
A spokesperson for the Metropolitan Police confirmed officers were alerted at 12:17am on 17 November. A woman in her 30s was taken to hospital by the London Ambulance Service and remains in a life-threatening condition. No arrests have been made, and enquiries are ongoing.
Police are urging anyone with information to call 101, quoting reference CAD 89/17Nov.
The London Ambulance Service said it received a call at 12:16am to reports of a road traffic collision on Bugsby’s Way. Multiple resources were dispatched, including an ambulance crew, paramedics in fast response cars, an advanced paramedic, and an incident response officer. A trauma team from London’s Air Ambulance also attended by car.
The patient was treated at the scene before being taken as a priority to a major trauma centre.
