A 70-year-old woman had to be taken to hospital on Wednesday morning after being hit by a car in Plumstead.
Raglan Road was blocked near the Glyndon Community Centre after the accident.
Buses had to be diverted, while police dealt with the incident.
There were reports that a woman received a head injury and that the driver was left very shaken up.
