A popular police dog will soon be allowed a well-earned rest in his dog house.
‘Ziggi Tigger’ alongside PC Robinson gave chase to a teenage boy, aged 16, who tried to evade them.
He was chased along William Foster Lane and into Burnell Avenue following a call from Welling Police Station.
The suspect was arrested after Tigger intercepted him and an “old-style police truncheon” was found in a nearby garden.
Welling Police reported that it could be one of Ziggi Tigger’s last jobs before his retirement next week.
He surely deserves some dog treats now!
