The 2021 London elections that are to be voted on Thursday 6th May will be electing a new mayor and a record-breaking 20 candidates are running to get that position. Of those 20, included are Sadiq Khan, the current Mayor of London and Shaun Bailey. In order to run for the position, candidates need a £10,000 deposit and 66 signatures of those on the electoral register.
Crazy News
A couple who were looking for properties around Maryland went viral after having a tour around the property. The 3-bed 3-bath Victorian home valued at $400,000 is 2,220 Square Feet and boasts a bright open plan kitchen, a gorgeous large living room, bedroom with en-suite and an attic converted into an office space. However, in order to get onto the second floor you need to get up some peculiar carpeted stairs. They are very odd indeed, on each step is on alternating sides. Classed as a staggered staircase, the unusual style is designed for properties with limited space. The couple ended up pulling out of making an offer due to these odd looking stairs.

Coldplay will be teaming up with The Ocean Cleanup that picks plastic right out of the river before it reaches the ocean. The band fronted by Chris Martin have adopted the newest “Interceptor”, which is one of the semi-autonomous vehicles as part of the fleet.
The team up will broaden the reach for the non-profit’s goal of launching an Interceptor in each of the world’s most polluted rivers before it faces the inevitable, capturing it in the ocean. The first barges were launched in 2009 and are internet connected which allows the staff to gather performance data and notify local operators once the dumpsters need to be emptied.
