Monday was the controversial freedom day. Rules have changed considerably. People with COVID symptoms should isolate, and those over 18 who are fully vaccinated do not need to quarantine and those in education or high-risk workspaces should take two lateral flow tests a week. As well as this, those dreaded masks are not required to be worn, however, some places do still operate a mask policy so do check where and when you go. And finally, the masks are still required on transport operated by TfL.

A mum wants to change her daughter’s name. Unfortunately, Lauren Johnson from Massachusetts named her daughter Alexa, and now the smart speaker from Alexa has become a lot more popular, Johnson wants to change the name of her daughter. She even spoke to her ex-partner and he doesn’t want the name to be changed. She has even created a campaign called Alexa is a Human. She also says: “I honestly think if I went to court (and I would consider this), a judge would allow a change for my daughter’s sake. It’s a lovely name and it really does suit her, but recently I’ve had comments from kids and adults about it.” Even her dad saw the funny side and bought an echo dot to be funny! Other parents believe she shouldn’t change her daughter’s name.

Cheating is a horrible thing to happen, but three girls who found this out then dumped him, became friends, and took a road trip together. Abi Roberts, Bekah King, and Morgan Tabor reached out to each other via social media after their presumptions become true. How did he get dumped? Well, he was busted when he showed up at Tabor’s house holding flowers, while she was on a FaceTime call to his other “girlfriends”. More digging around they found another six girls he was apparently seeing. In the time after, Roberts, King, and Tabor bonded and went on a road trip, reminiscing on their departed ex. So from a bad experience, they have been introduced to each other and are now friends!
