The Uber Boat service along the Thames has suffered several cancellations and delays after a fire broke out on an eastbound clipper near Battersea Power Station pier.
Passengers and crew were evacuated on Tuesday morning. London Fire Brigade extinguished what it called a “small fire in the engine room”. There were no reported injuries.
The two-year-old Uber boat service stops at 24 piers along the Thames.
