Thames Clipper Cruising

Thames Clipper Cruising

Lovely weather for a trip on the river.

Bob took a ‘cruise’ from Greenwich along through Westminster, taking in the sights along the way and ending up in Putney.

The fastest fleet on the river, the 15 member MBNA Thames Clipper fleet was joined by two new vessels, the Neptune and Galaxy last year.

These Hunt class catamarans are 35 metres long and can carry 150 passengers.  Bob met some of them enjoying their trip on the Thames.

Lynn

Lynn from Suffolk, but originally from London, enjoyed lunch at the Savoy before a trip on the river.  Travelling with her wheelchair, she found it easy to get aboard the Thames Clipper.

Lysee and Alex

Lucy and Alex were enjoying a day out on the river.

Laura

Laura from Munich was visiting London from Germany for the first time and had decided to get about the city by river.
