Socially distanced festival to take place in August

Greenwich and Docklands International Festival has been reimagined to allow social distancing.

The festival, which normally takes place in June, was postponed until August, but with social distancing rules likely to still be in place then, the event organisers have planned a variety of outdoor events.

The festival programme will include art installations celebrating the NHS, outdoor dance at Canary Wharf and circus and street theatre performances in  Greenwich, Woolwich, Thamesmead, North Woolwich, and Eltham. The festival will aim to celebrate togetherness after months of isolation.
