A leafy local landmark has had a Christmas makeover, attracting selfie-fans.
Sidcup residents have watched for two years as an 11-foot elephant has been gradually sculpted from bushes in the town’s Collindale Road.
This year the elephant’s creator, Christopher Dean has added some festive details to the topiary, including a Christmas hat and lights, and says he has been surprised to see passers-by taking selfies with the festive beast.
