Sadiq Khan has been re-elected as Mayor of London. In the Greenwich and Lewisham constituency Mr Khan won convincingly with 46% of the vote as against 26% for his Conservative challenger Sean Bailey. In Bexley and Bromley however, Mr Bailey polled over half the votes cast.
In elections to the London assembly Greenwich and Lewisham again returned a Labour member, Len Duvall, and Bexley and Bromley a Conservative, Peter Fortune.
