A serial flytipper will be monitored by an electronic tag and have to do 200 hours of unpaid work after being convicted by Bexley Magistrates.
Florin Avadanei also had his car confiscated after an investigation described by the Royal Borough of Greenwich as “rigorous” revealed that although Avadanei held a waste carrying licence he was disposing of items illegally. The court was shown photos of waste left by Mr Avadenei blocking pavements.
Cllr Jackie Smith, Greenwich Cabinet Member for Community Safety and Enforcement, said that the council takes “a zero-tolerance approach to fly-tipping” and urged anyone who witnesses fly-tipping, to report it.
