Brenda Scott, the Senior Area Events Manager for London at Cancer Research London, came into the studio to tell us about Blackheath Race for Life which is being held on Sunday 30th June.
They are hoping to raise £400,100 for Cancer Research UK. Their research has played a part in developing 8 out of 10 of the world’s top cancer drugs and over the past 10 years, £393 million has been spent on Breast Cancer research. Brenda told us how every penny helps!
