More than 200 Metropolitan Police officers have been deployed in Greenwich to carry out a series of raids to clamp down on organised criminals supplying Class A and Class B drugs to communities.
The next phase of Operation Perseus began today with 7 arrested for drugs offences and over 30 thousand pounds in cash seized.
Superintendent Andy Furphy said: “So far the operation has been a success. Operation Perseus is an initiative put together by the South East PCU which covers the boroughs of Greenwich, Lewisham and Bexley in order to those that are fuelling violent crime by the supply of drugs in communities.”
