Police are seeking a convicted rapist from Woolwich who has failed to comply with the terms of his sex offenders’ registration. Christopher Reid, who is 44, was convicted of rape and robbery in 2002 and sentenced to thirteen years in jail.
After release he was placed on the sex offenders’ register, which requires him to report regularly to police, but since December, when he was re-arrested and bailed for missing police appointments, he has not been seen.
Police do not currently know his whereabouts and are appealing for help to find him. The public is warned not to approach Mr Reid, but to contact the police if they know of his whereabouts.
