An accident involving a pedestrian at Kimmeridge Road in Mottingham is currently being attended by police and ambulance.
A man has been seriously injured at the junction with Beaconsfield Road. The London Air Ambulance also attended the scene.
Unconfirmed reports say the pedestrian was hit by a car reversing at high speed around a corner.
A man, aged in his 70s, was found suffering injuries. He was taken to hospital and at this stage his injuries are not believed to be life threatening.
