PCSO guilty of assaulting emergency responder

A Police community support officer has pleaded guilty to assaulting an emergency worker in Greenwich last Saturday.

Police had attended Trafalgar Road just after seven thirty am after reports of a car crashing into a road barrier, but while dealing with the incident one of those responding was assaulted.

At a hearing at Bromley Magistrates’ Court on Monday Norbert Marara himself works for the traffic police, admitted to drink driving and also to the assault of one of the emergency responders.
