Traffic restrictions in Eltham’s Page estate are being revised after objections from motorists.
The scheme was intended to stop Eltham Green Road and Shawbrook Road from being used as “rat runs” between the busy Eltham Road and Rochester Way, and to improve cycling provision in the area.
But after local residents expressed concerns that the plans would “separate the community”, alternatives are now being considered.
