Millwall Football Club features prominently among the nominations for this year’s London Football Awards, with recognition spanning performance, leadership, and community impact. The club’s strong presence reflects a notable period both on and off the pitch, as Millwall prepares to be represented across several key categories at the ceremony in March.
Millwall have been well represented following the release of nominations for this year’s London Football Awards, with recognition across managerial, playing, and community categories.
Head coach Alex Neil has been nominated for the prestigious Manager of the Year award, reflecting a strong period for the Lions under his leadership. Neil faces strong competition in the category, with fellow nominees including Mikel Arteta of Arsenal, Keith Andrews of Brentford, Martin Ho of Tottenham Hotspur Women, and Andy Woodman of Bromley.
On the pitch, Femi Azeez and Tristan Crama have both been shortlisted for EFL Player of the Year, highlighting their standout contributions during the campaign. They are nominated alongside players such as Dom Ballard of Leyton Orient and Bromley duo Michael Cheek and Mitch Pinnock, underlining the strength of talent across the capital’s EFL clubs.
Millwall’s impact away from the pitch has also been recognised, with the Millwall Community Trust nominated for Community Project of the Year through their Youth & Employability project.
Further recognition comes for goalkeeper Lukas Jensen, who has been nominated for the PFA Men’s Player in the Community Champion award. Jensen is shortlisted alongside Eberechi Eze of Arsenal and Jimmy Dunne of Queens Park Rangers, celebrating players who have made a significant contribution beyond football.
The winners will be announced at the London Football Awards ceremony on 5 March, which will take place at Exhibition, White City. Millwall will head into the evening with multiple nominees, and Maritime Radio sends its best of luck to all of the nominees.
