Local artists have been invited to submit proposals for a new mural in Thamesmead. The winning artist will then be invited to join four others to create a scheme of murals around Thamesmead’s canals.
According to organisers, Peabody Thamesmead Regeneration, the murals will “celebrate Thamesmead’s rich and diverse landscapes, wildlife and cultural heritage, whilst providing signage and wayfinding for pedestrians and cyclists”.
