More than 60 roads will be closed across Greenwich over the four-day Platinum Jubilee weekend as residents toast the Queen at street parties.
Other events in the borough include the free Together 22 family festival and the Platinum Picnic in Charlton Park, royal-themed family craft sessions at the Old Royal Naval College and an exhibition documenting the monarch’s links to the site.
At 9.30 pm on June 2, Platinum Jubilee beacons will light up Blackheath, General Gordon Square in Woolwich and Lesnes Abbey in Abbey Wood.
