Maritime Radio shortlisted in 2023 national radio awards

Local radio station Maritime Radio has been shortlisted in the 2023 Community Radio Awards.

The station has made the shortlist, which was whittled down from entries from stations from every corner of the UK.

The station has picked up nominations in the Male Presenter of the Year and Entertainment programme of the year  categories.

John Reen has been shortlisted in the Male presenter of the year category, for his Saturday Brunch show.

 

Meanwhile, Tom and Matty have been nominated for their monthly show which looks at events from the past month and makes predictions for the month ahead.  Monthly Montage, which airs on the first Sunday of the month, has been shortlisted in the Entertainment Show of the year category.

 

The winners will be revealed in a ceremony in Newcastle-upon-Tyne on  4th November.
