A new radio station is getting ready to go live for the first time. Maritime Radio will be on FM radio and online from Saturday 29 August. It has been a year in the planning and Director of Programmes Duncan Martin said it’s just what Greenwich needs: ‘There’s so much going on in our area, we’re going to promote everything happening around Greenwich as well as bringing local news, entertainment and local voices to our audience’.
Maritime Radio is on 87.9FM throughout the Royal Borough of Greenwich, with live programmes daily until 25 September.
