Each week, Ben Hopkinson looks back at what’s happened the past 7 days and what was trending on Twitter with the Maritime Hashtag Minute.
This week’s #MaritimeHashtagMinute was #TedLasso, after the series finale (and possibly the last ever episode) dropped to Apple TV+ last Wednesday. The feel-good comedy-drama series first aired back in 2020, following multiple skits on NBC. View the Tweets below:

Ted Lasso came along at a time when we needed it most.— Jack Benjamin (@JackBenjaminPxP) May 31, 2023
As the late great Jim Valvano said, we need to laugh, think & cry every day. The show did that in each episode.
The ending was perfect. Except for it being the end.
#TedLasso will end up being one of the best sports shows ever and the best show up about dealing with Mental Health, Anxiety and every day things so many people go through. A beautiful show, with a perfect ending pic.twitter.com/MdZPi9aL46— Commissioner Gordon (@NotoriousJMFG) May 31, 2023
Brendan Hunt, Jason Sudeikis & co. delivered a damn endearing finale for #TedLasso. It’s never solely been Ted’s story, but rather about this family who found comfort in each other. Considering season 3’s messy structure, I’m happy they managed to wrap-up every arc pretty nicely. pic.twitter.com/vidCA9uZ1B— Edgar Ortega (@edgorteg) May 31, 2023
