Well Hall Road, one of main roads connecting Eltham and Woolwich was blocked earlier near the junction of Arsenal road.
The crash between a female pedestrian in her 70s and a motorbike happened around 3.30pm today (May 23rd).
The spokesperson for the London Ambulance Service said ‘we were called at 3.19pm today to reports of a road traffic incident in Well Hall Road, Greenwich. We sent resources including an ambulance crew, two medics in fast response cars and an incident response officer and also London’s Air Ambulance. We treated a woman at the scene for head, arm and leg injuries and took her to a major trauma centre in London.’
A police spokesperson for the police said ‘the male rider of the motorcycle was arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving.
