Local police teams are encouraging people in the borough to take part in the Metropolitan Police’s annual Christmas Tree Appeal to give presents to disadvantaged children in the capital.
The appeal, in partnership with The Childhood Trust, will ensure that children living in foster or residential care, in refuges, or who come from very low-income families will have a present to open on Christmas Day.
