He’s done it!!! Local boy Sam Wilkinson, 13, from Lewisham who has won the final of the Voice Kids.
Songwriter Sam Wilkinson, who also plays the guitar and harmonica, beat Lil Shan Shan, Keira Laver and Gracie-Jayne Fitzgerald to be crowned the champion of the Voice Kids 2019 after performing his own song and Hey Jude with his mentor Danny Jones (McFly).
The pair jumped up and down as the news came in, with Sam pretty speechless.
He thanked those who voted for him for their support, but was a boy of few words unable to believe his luck.
