Lewisham teenager guilty of killing 17-year-old Nasir Patrice

A teenager from Lewisham has been found guilty of the manslaughter of a 17-year-old. Nasir Patrice was stabbed to death in Leamington Spa in January last year.

The accused boy, who was 16 at the time of the killing and cannot be named for legal reasons, had already been found not guilty of Nasir’s murder. He maintained that he had acted in self-defense after Nasir and several others “burst into” a flat in the Warwickshire town with knives. But after a 10-hour deliberation, the jury found the defendent guilty of manslaughter.

Warwickshire Police said the stabbing was likely connected to a dispute between county lines drug dealers.
