Greenwich council has announced that it is partnering with Barclays bank to give girls equal access to football in schools by 2024.
The announcement came as part of the council’s congratulatory message to England’s Lionesses for their Euro 2022 triumph on Sunday.
Barclays sponsors the Women’s Super League, the highest women’s football league in England.
