Greenwich In Bloom Winners Announced

Greenwich In Bloom Winners Announced

The green-fingered residents of Greenwich have been getting their gardening gloves on for Greenwich in Bloom!

The annual awards celebrate the people in our community who work really hard to bring colour and vibrancy to their gardens and neighbourhoods. The categories include front garden, back garden, communal garden, hanging baskets, window boxes or pots and finally commercial garden or containers.

This year’s awards ceremony took place on Friday 20 September and was attended by Greenwich Mayor, Councillor Mick Hayes, who presented the winners with their awards.

Cabinet member for Culture, Leisure and the Third Sector, Councillor Miranda Williams said:

“I would like to say huge congratulations to all the winners and participants of this year’s Greenwich in Bloom. Beautiful gardens make such a difference to the borough, and it is clear to see how dedicated and hard-working this year’s entrants have been. I hope other residents feel inspired to get their gardening gloves out and enter next year’s awards!”
