The Greenwich Foot Tunnel will be closed to all users this weekend. Previous attempts had been made to keep the tunnel open to key workers, but the difficulty in maintaining social distancing has led the council to close the tunnel altogether from 10pm on Friday 1 May to 10pm on Sunday 3 May.
The Woolwich Foot Tunnel, will remain open.
