Greenwich eateries enjoy Truss TV bump

Some of Greenwich’s favourite eateries are enjoying bouts of television stardom, off the back of Ms Truss’s elevation to the country’s top political job.

The Old Cottage Coffee Shop in Charlton has featured in BBC London’s coverage of the prime minister’s links to southeast London.

And ITV news has covered the Golden Chippy on Greenwich High Road, which is right round the corner from Ms Truss’s home. But apparently, she’s never been in there for fish and chips.
