Snow, ice and freezing fog that is sweeping across parts of the UK will continue for days, forecasters said.
The conditions have caused travel disruption, with delayed trains, motorway accidents and flights from Heathrow cancelled on Sunday.
The snow arrived in south east London on Sunday evening, with more expected overnight and temperatures set to drop to as low as -2c.
Monday is set to be a cold day, with early freezing fog patches which may not clear in places. Early wintry showers clearing with a dry day for many, and perhaps some brighter spells developing. Maximum temperature 2 °C.
