A parade of twinkling lights
will transform bedtime into a magical, shared moment in this illuminated artwork created by Luke Jerram. Soothing musical refrains will accompany LED-lit bicycles on their twilight journey through the streets. Lullaby is
a gift to Plumstead, created in collaboration with Plumstead Make Merry and local residents and delivered at dusk on their doorsteps.

LULLABIES FOR GREENWICH+DOCKLANDS INTERNATIONAL FESTIVAL 2020
GDIF are looking for lullabies to form the soundtrack to the show Lullaby which will accompany LED-lit bicycles as they twinkle their way through the streets of Plumstead.
This hour-long piece will have a soundscape of lullabies that have been gathered from residents of Plumstead. We are collecting as many lullabies as possible, fromdi erent families, ages, cultures and languages. Lullabies can be passed throughgenerations, softly sung from parent to child, or newly created to show love and care for our community.
Send GDIF your lullabies:
1 Choose your favourite lullaby or make up your own. The lullabies could be sung as a group, on your own, with friends or family. Lullabiesare soothing, calming, and lled with love and protection.
2 Find a quiet space, free from background noise. You can listen on headphones if you need backing music – just record your voice.
3 Record your lullaby and save onto your device. If you have a microphone or recording equipment, this will produce the best results. However, a recording on a phone is ne.
