Lindy Hop Social Night

June 25 @ 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm BST

Join Greenwich Dance for our Lindy Hop Social Night at Abbey Wood Community Centre – You can learn a few moves from a live dance teacher and then party the night away! Lindy Hop is a vibrant social dance form with a rich cultural African American Jazz Dance history starting in the dance halls of Harlem, New York City and the historic Savoy Ballroom. Come along on your own or with a few friends and learn some steps from professional Lindy Hop dancers Temujin Gill, Sunanda Biswas and Wendy Steatham in a welcoming environment. We are also joined by a live DJ Lil’ Koko. You would normally catch Kate on Jazz FM, Wednesday evenings with The Big Easy at 9pm. There will be free soft drinks and cake available too!
