A number of people from around the Maritime Radio area have rallied round to raise funds and donate toys to those which were stolen from the Safari Childrens’ Ward at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Woolwich.
Paul Billington from Plumstead set up a “Go Fund Me” page online and has already raised nearly £800!
He told Maritime Radio more about why he felt compelled to help.
