A teenager has been stabbed to death in Abbey Wood. Police were called on Saturday afternoon to a fight in Edington Road and discovered the 18-year-old with stab wounds to his chest.
A section 60 order, which allows for enhanced stop and search powers was issued for the postcode in the hours afterwards but no arrests have yet been made.
Although the young man has not yet been formally identified, police have indicated that his next-of-kin are being supported by specialist officers.
