About the Bexley Art Collective (Notes for editors)
Formed as a collective of Artists in the autumn of 2022 from students of the Art Class Bexley, studying under the personal Tuition of Dr Nicholas Wyatt. These enthusiastic Artists of all ages and levels of experience can often be seen sketching at London's renowned museums and galleries, drawing inspiration from both the iconic buildings, city landscapes and famous paintings.
In addition to their museum visits and lessons, the collective ventures into London's picturesque parks to practice the art of en plein air painting. This enables each Artist to develop individual diverse painting styles and interpretations.
Through their combined works the Bexley Art Collective celebrates London's cultural diversity, historical significance, and natural beauty. The Collective aims, with a growing catalogue of independent and expressionist Art compositions, to: develop their public profile, inspire people to create Art and recruit additional members.
