Eltham is setting up for another colourful spring as tens of thousands of early flowering bulbs are planted in communal grassy areas this weekend.
The Big Eltham Bulb Plant, which has been running since 2015, will see 20,000 crocus, muscari and snowdrop bulbs planted across Eltham, New Eltham and Mottingham.
Eltham South Councillor Matt Clare encouraged local people to join him in the planting the bulbs, as he said “Brightening up our streets each March & great for pollinating insects”.
