Gary’s Heart of Gold this week is Sue Parr from Sidcup.
Sue and her dog Maggie, collect discarded bottles and cans during their daily walkies! Maggie collects the items in her mouth and drops them in the recycling bin when they get home!
The five-year-old Rottweiler/Labrador mix picks up discarded plastic bottles in Avery Hill Park, Eltham, before her owner Sue takes them home to be recycled.
The eco-friendly pooch can pick up as many as four bottles at once, and has become a much-loved local character. Sue describes Maggie as an eco-warrior!
