Dispersal Order on Greenwich Peninsular

Police have imposed a dispersal order throughout the Greenwich Peninsular area.

The order means that police have the power to ask groups of two or more people to move on if they suspect them of wrongdoing or of causing a public nuisance.

The Met’s Peninsula police have stated that the order has been put into place in response to a recent rise in youth crime and anti-social behaviour in the area. The order is in effect until 3pm on Saturday.
