A man stabbed to death in Deptford early on Friday morning has been named locally as the drill artist Bis – real name Crosslom Davis.
Bis, who was 20 and a member of the drill rap group Harlem Spartans, was pronounced dead at 3.30am on Friday in Deptford’s Bronze Street.
Harlem Spartans, who often rap about knife crime, have received hundreds of thousands of hits on their YouTube channel and count former Radio 1 DJ Tim Westwood among their fans.
Bis is the second member of the group to be stabbed to death in the last 18 months.
