Arsenal are close to completing the transfers of Declan Rice and Justin Timber from West Ham United and Ajax respectively. The deal to sign Rice is said to cost around £105million with added-ons included with this having been the third offer which Arsenal have made to West Ham for the player. The fee of around £105nillion when completed will break the clubs transfer record and will put Rice amongst the most expensive midfielders in world football. The England international had recently captained boyhood club West Ham United to UEFA Conference League glory in Prague following their 2-1 win in the final against Italian side Fiorentina helping win was also his final appearance for the club. The transfer of Justin Timber to Arsaenal from Ajax is also close to compketion with the two clubs having already agreed a transfer fee of over £40million for the Dutch international right-back. Arsenal have already signed Chelsea and Germany forward Kai Havertz and look set to build on their 2nd place finish from last season when they challeneged treble winners Manchester City all the way until the cloing weeks of the league campaign. The club also look to push on and obtain their first League Title in 20 years next season.
