Call for feedback on Woolwich design proposals

Design proposals to revitalise Woolwich town centre to the tune of nearly 20 million pounds are now open to feedback from the public.

The proposals to improve the look and feel of the area are part of a drive to support the growth and sustainability of high streets throughout England.

Councillor Aidan Smith, Cabinet Member for Regeneration, said that “it’s a fantastic opportunity to capitalise on the arrival of Elizabeth line services which has really helped to put Woolwich on the map”.

The public consultation runs until July 17.

Work is expected to start in spring 2023.
