Rolling Stone Mick's former home sold

Mick Jagger’s childhood home has sold for more than £500,000.

Mick lived at the four-bed in Denver Road in Dartford, Kent, when he met future Rolling Stones bandmate Keith Richards.

It sold for £512,000, doubling in value in 10 years, after estate agents described it as “perfect for a growing family”.

One of the only original features left is the stained glass in the hallway window.

The house has four bedrooms and a garden shed, which comes with a blue plaque to Mick, put up by a previous owner.

Jagger was born in Dartford in July 1943 and he spent years living in Denver Road with his parents Basil and Eva.

He was known for doing physical education in the tiny front garden as his father was a PE teacher who hoped to make basketball popular in the UK.
